Take On Me

"Take On Me" flopped. Twice. Then a hand-drawn video changed everything.

Before it topped the Billboard Hot 100, a-ha's synth-pop anthem was written off, shelved, and re-recorded from scratch — until Steve Barron's pencil-sketch video gave it a third life in 1985.

Would this song still be a hit today without that video?
