How we work.

Behind The Song Files is the archive of Behind The Song, a daily series about the stories behind famous songs: how they were written, what they are really about, and the details that happened in the studio.

Every episode is built on documented facts: artist interviews, producer memoirs, chart and certification archives such as Billboard, RIAA and the GRAMMY database. We never reproduce song lyrics: the songs belong to their authors and labels, and videos are embedded from official channels.
