Careless Whisper

Careless Whisper wasn't written by a heartbroken adult - it was written by a seventeen-year-old on a bus, on his way to a DJ shift.

George Michael scrapped the first version, recorded across the ocean in Muscle Shoals, because it didn't feel honest enough.

The line everyone quotes was never about dancing. It was about getting caught.

Have you ever really listened to this one past the sax solo?
