Umbrella

Umbrella almost wasn't Rihanna's song.

Before the ella ella eh eh eh became inescapable, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart shopped the hook around - and got turned down twice. Then Jay-Z, running Def Jam at the time, refused to let it go anywhere else.

Would Umbrella have been this huge with a different voice on it?
